WE SUPPORT RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION
At Licormart and its affiliated companies, we advocate for responsible alcohol consumption. Therefore, our commitment to complying with current legislation governing alcohol consumption in our country and adhering to best practices is evident through our zero-tolerance policy regarding the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors and the promotion of responsible and moderate alcohol consumption.
We monitor and ensure that our staff remains informed about measures to promote responsible alcohol consumption when delivering our services, and that the following commitments are upheld in our establishments:
- We do not sell any type of alcoholic beverages/cigarettes to children under 18 years of age. This implies that we reserve the right to require our customers, when making a purchase or requesting any service in any of our establishments, to present two valid identifications.
- We do not sell alcoholic beverages to people who are intoxicated. We reserve the right to deny entry to our establishments to people who are intoxicated or exhibit inappropriate behavior.
- We respect the sales schedules established by current legislation. Our service hours have been established to offer timely and continuous service to our clients, but always in compliance with current legislation. Additionally, our Delivery Service is offered to our customers exclusively during business hours.
- We conduct responsible communications, advertising, and promotions. Our communication, marketing, and advertising policy promote responsible consumption, good conduct, and deter consumption by minors. Therefore, we avoid: a) using cartoons, children's characters, numbers, or "humanized" animals as protagonists, especially if they appeal to those under 18 years of age; b) depicting minors encouraging alcohol consumption; c) associating alcohol consumption with driving motor vehicles or operating machinery; d) associating alcohol consumption with activities requiring high attention; e) portraying moderate consumption or abstinence as inferior or frowned upon; f) depicting individuals in a state of intoxication or suggesting it as acceptable behavior; g) showing situations of excessive and irresponsible consumption; and h) asserting that alcohol consumption is necessary for athletic, social, sexual, or occupational success.
